NeoSources provides proprietary pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology for removing moisture from ethanol stream.

PSA technology for ethanol dehydration is based on the difference of absorptive capacities of ethanol and water on the absorbent. Ethanol and water are separated under elevated pressure by passing through the absorbent beds. The absorbed moisture is released at lower pressure and high temperature during regeneration process.

Our process generates ethanol concentration of 99.5-99.99%, with annual operating time over 8,500 hours, in additional to the low energy and steam consumptions.
